Our researchers work in close collaboration with the US Evidence-Based Practice Center to conduct systematic reviews and meta-analysis on different endocrine topics. These systematic reviews help us acknowledge the best available evidence and more importantly bring to light knowledge gaps that can later result in study designs that can address them. Furthermore, we conduct frequent analysis from current endocrine clinical practice guidelines to find recommendations based on low quality evidence that could be improved with better evidence. Finally, we involve several stakeholders such us patients, clinicians, and guideline panelists to prioritize research gaps and transform them into “Endocrinology Research Questions” (ERQs)
